But I also have tried Master Genealogists, LDS, Family Tree Maker (FTM) 2005, and am currently attempting FTM 2009. I have also tried Legacy, Roots-magic and a couple others. Generations Grande Suite 8.0 is not supported by Serra.

This would probably help you find a more current software that you can use. Most of the programs have the ability to download from other software so you will not have to retype everything, but having a copy of your work on a disc or external hard drive is a good idea as well.
